How To Apply Makeup
Whether you have a round face or any other face shape and you wear makeup here’s a great tip for you!
Apply your blush to accentuate your cheekbones. Many people (especially people with round faces) apply blush on the apples of the cheeks; in other words, they smile, then apply the blush to the upper rounded check section just below the eyes.
But what you want to do is use your blush as shading under your cheekbones. To find the proper area, look into the mirror and suck in your cheeks. Apply your blush in a line extending from the center of your ear diagonally downward toward the corners of your mouth.
Be sure to blend it in around all edges so it doesn’t look like you have two broad pink stripes along the sides of your face! Use your finger, a makeup sponge or a section of toilet paper.
Now apply a highlighting powder or cream right on your cheekbones, above the blush; blend it toward your ears. It should harmonize with your skin color or be ever so subtly lighter. Be sure to thoroughly blend.
Voila! You have high cheekbones applying make-up!
